Community Led Education & Action Against NTDs (CLEAN)
Integrated SCH-STH-Trachoma Materials
These materials emphasize locally-driven actions to achieve and sustain behavior change and WASH improvements to address and prevent NTDs.
These materials are designed to be used by professionals in the field: teachers, women's health workers, community leaders and volunteers. The manuals include lesson plans for the classroom or community settings on disease prevention and healthy hygiene, along with explanation of disease vectors and symptoms.
These materials were developed by the NALA Foundation for the Bench Maji project in Ethiopia, working with the Federal Ministry of Health and Merck KGaA.
