China Schistosomiasis Memorial

Located in Jiangxi Province, the China Schistosomiasis Memorial was set up in Yujiang of Yingtan City to commemorate the 60^th anniversary of the publication of Chairman Mao Zedong's two poems of ‘Farewell to the God of Plague’.

As a demonstration of the historic achievements of China's schistosomiasis control efforts, the museum is also awarded as ‘Patriotic Education Base’, ‘National Science Popularization Education Base’, ‘National Health Popularization Base’, ‘AAA National Tourist Scenic Spot’, as well as ‘Jiangxi Province Cultural Relics Protection Unit’ by the Jiangxi government.
