Several NTDs have been targeted for elimination by the year 2030. In the ECOWAS region, Ghana, Togo and The Gambia have been certified as having eliminated trachoma or lymphatic filariasis. The region is close to eliminating human African trypanosomiasis and yaws.

The next webinar in the COR-NTD Research Links Series will take place on Wednesday 22 September 2021, all about putting schistosomiasis precision mapping into practice.

This webinar is to follow the partner consultation process which took place throughout August (2nd - 31st) where partners were asked to provide input on the current draft of the Kigali Declaration via a survey on the Uniting To Combat NTDs website.
