This webinar will present results and lessons from the FGS integration project, implemented by Frontline AIDS, LVCT Health and Bridges to Development in Kenya, supported by the Children's Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF).

Female Genital Schistosomiasis (FGS) is one of the most common sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) issues in sub-Saharan Africa. It affects an estimated 56 million women and girls. How can FGS be integrated into HIV and SRHR programming work?

Drawing on lessons from the FGS integration project, this session will:

  • Present the minimum service package (MSP) for FGS integration into SRHR developed by the project
  • Highlight lessons and challenges from implementing the MSP in Kenya
  • Share preliminary data on the acceptability, feasibility and cost of this integration.
