Kat Gulyas

Communications Consultant

Kat has over six years' experience as a communications specialist in the development and global health sectors. Previously she worked as the Digital Communications Manager at the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene and at Deki, a small international development charity providing ethical micro loans at grassroot level, coupled with business and community development training. Kat is a communications all-rounder, from developing strategic communications plans, to crisis communications planning, evaluation reporting and content development. She is working with GSA on the delivery of their communications strategy, supporting partner relationships, and consulting on the delivery of the organisation’s complete digital portfolio, including social media, newsletters, web content, and campaigns. 

Kat's passion is behavioural change and impact communication for disease elimination. She is the Co-Chair of the NTD NTG Network Communications Task Team and founded and facilitates the Digital Communications working group within the South West International Development Network, where communications professionals in the international development sector can come together, share best practice, network and gain support in the field.
